Guardians of Ga'Hooleby ~Soared

Fan Art / Traditional Art / Paintings / Books & Novels

This is a piece of fanart from the Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series.
It's from the prologues and epilogues of the Legends books, of the Band and Coryn and Otulissa sitting in the secret hollow reading.
I started reading these books in... fifth grade, maybe? They've just sort of stuck with me, and I decided to do some art for them.

I actually did this in acrylic craft paints.. you know, those little bottles? Yeah. Hey, paint is paint. Took me a long time to do, like, three weeks on and off of my life. Bleh. And Gylfie (the little owl on the big owl's shoulder) still ended up looking funny, but I don't care. It's done.

I am a REALLY big fan of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole seris, althought the movie was no good at all.
Anyway, I'm adding this to my favourites.
